Provenance
Toor is the Deccan's gram, drawn from the trading floors of Latur and Kalaburagi where Maharashtra and Karnataka meet. The house carries the premium processed dal, and holds the three lots that carry a Geographical Indication, Navapur, Kalaburagi, and Borsuri, for counterparties of particular habit.
Carriage & Packing
Split and decorticated to a bright, even gold, every lot passes the colour-sorter and the metal detector before it is bagged. Unpolished, water-polished, or oil-polished as the buyer directs, declared on the certificate: twelve months of shelf unpolished, eighteen under oil.
